Effective for propellers delivered after July 1, 2016, Top Prop conversions are covered under warranty through first overhaul. The warranty period will vary based on the propeller type and utilization under Hartzell’s recommended TBO intervals published in Service Letter HC-SL-61-61Y. Other warranty details are the same as the standard warranty, which is described in the warranty card included in the STC kit. The warranty card should be filled out, a copy made for your records, and the original card sent in to Hartzell.
While the propeller is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship as described above, if you are dissatisfied with the operation of the Top Prop propeller on your airplane for any reason, contact Hartzell within 90 days or 10 flight hours after installation.
