In 2017, Hartzell Propeller celebrates our 100th anniversary. What started out as a neighborly back porch conversation between Orville Wright and Robert Hartzell a century ago has evolved into a company that is now the worldwide leader in propeller design and manufacturing. Throughout 2017, we’ll be celebrating with our aviation partners and thousands of Hartzell enthusiasts throughout the world. As part of that celebration, we devote this space to stories about the history of aviation and will continue to update it throughout the year as our celebration continues.
