In less than a week, hundreds of aircraft will descend on Oshkosh, WI for EAA AirVenture 2014. Hartzell is making its biggest impact ever on this year’s festivities. We have already revealed our incredible multi-story exhibition area, created in conjunction with Hartzell Engine Technologies, but we have also teamed up with some of general aviation’s biggest names to create the EAA/IMC Club IFR Proficiency Center.
The IFR Proficiency Center is a unique opportunity to engage with instrument flying experts, take in the atmosphere of IMC Club meetings and put your knowledge of instrument flight to the test. The center will feature daily Tech Talks from Jeppesen’s “dream team” as well as a fleet of eight Redbird advanced flight simulators.
Hartzell Propeller is a company of pilots and aviation enthusiasts, and many of our employees are IFR certified pilots. Recently, we founded our own chapter of IMC Club in order to help even more aviators within our team and the surrounding area understand the importance of instrument proficiency. Hartzell is proud to partner with EAA, FLYING magazine, Jeppesen, the National Association of Flight Instructors, pilotedge and Redbird Flight Simulations on this incredible educational venture.
We invite you to join us in the IFR Proficiency Center (Oshkosh exhibition areas 423, 424, 439 and 440) whether you are currently IFR proficient, are interested in receiving your instrument rating or want to become a pilot in the future.
